Licenses are validated offline by the desktop app — it runs with the WiFi off. During the beta a Local license runs for 3 months and renews for free from your dashboard.
The app runs on Ubuntu 24.04+ (other distros coming soon). Guest VMs can run Ubuntu Server 20.04, 22.04, 24.04 & 26.04 and Debian 13.
